Sayulita, Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico

I absolutely loved my stay at jungle house air B&B buy Casa Selva Sayulita Hotel. It was surrounded by tropical trees and birds and a bonus of large windows to view the nature surrounding yourself. I really like the fact that it was slightly off from the middle of Sayulite Village which gave a more quiet environment and the beach nearby was less busy with people.

After a day of spending time on the beach with my friend we decided to relax by the pool because sometimes the waves were too rough to swim in and it still gave that serene, nature escape.

There is a cute restaurant in down town Sayulita called La Niña and I got the chicken enchiladas and asada tacos which the meet was not too dry and had great flavor. What I loved the most about this place is that it is more local and friendly, full of colorful lights and paints and they have Parrots that can hang out on your arm or singing in background.

Sayulita Downtown sometimes has some lovely street musicians playing at night.

Only 15-20 minute drive away is San Panch(San Francisco) which is another beach village. I almost liked this spot a little better because it was even less touristy then Sayulita and maybe a little more quant and high end too. The beach is gorgeous and there was a great spot for photo taking but be careful be the rocks could cut your feet! Also lots of cute little shop to look in during the day. But I preferred the beach time.

later that night after we refreshed, we went back to San Pancho to enjoy some dinner and live music!

On our 3rd day, we went to Punta Mita to take a tour boat to Marietas Island which is a national reserve island with a hidden beach and definitely worth the trip and experience! It costs about $100 person but cheaper than to take a boat from Sayulita. Google airial view is the dopest but still got swim to the hidden beach and take some neat pictures.

After our visit on the island we drove back to Puerto Vallarta for our last night and stayed at another great Airbnb that I recommend :) Links to the Airbnb’s are at end of page. In Puerto Vallarta we toured the city surround the Airbnb and then got out COVID tests at the airport before we flew out the next day. The test results took only 45 minutes and we just picked them up next day when we came to the airport for our flight. Only cost about $20 too very cheap.

In our last night we wanted to check out some nice lounges and bars. El Colibri Bar was a super chill lounge with some amazing cocktails!! Our last stop was was a Salsa Bar with great salsa dancing happening only walking distance away! Forgot the name but the bartenders would know where to tell you if you asked.
