How Thermal Shock Can Help Reduce Fat

Thermal Shock to reduce fat:

Thermal shock is a science where warm and cold are used  and applied directly to the clients skin. When thermal shock is used to reduce fat we should consider that subcutaneous fat cells are naturally more vulnerable to the effects of cold than other surrounding tissue. Exposure to cooling causes fat cell apoptosis - a natural, controlled cell death, which leads to the release of cytokines and other inflammatory mediators that gradually eliminate the affected cells.

Inflammatory cells gradually digest the affected fat cells in the weeks after the procedure, reducing the thickness of the fat layer. A natural process from this procedure is the lipids from the fat cells are slowly released and transported by the lymphatic system to be processed and eliminated.

The T-Shock method is fundamentally different from other modalities:

The thermal shock / sculpting procedure using the TSHOCK is fundamentally different from other non or minimally invasive modalities. Other methods of fat removal primarily involve necrotic cell death by damaging fat with heat, high-intensity focused ultrasound, or chemical injections.

Each of these alternate approaches poses potential technical challenges, particularly with respect to targeting the right tissue depth and unintended damage to other structures close to or within the fat layer. Predictability of efficacy using these other techniques is also uncertain. In contrast to the Cool-Sculpting procedure which uses suction and Cryolipolysis which can also damage beneficial cells, the thermal shock effect employed by the TSHOCK induces apoptosis only in fat cells to gently and gradually reduce the fat layer while preserving all the other tissue.

Increased metabolic processes and circulation:

One of the outcomes of thermal shock fat reduction treatment is an increase in metabolic processes and circulation. This Causes the body to burn extra calories more than it normally would. The rise in metabolism is not sufficient to trigger a dramatic reduction in weight without some accompanying actions from the client. A vigorous training routine lasting for 20-30 minutes should be performed immediately after the procedure so that the accelerated metabolism will improve the quantity of calories which might be burned. Exercise should continue following each treatment as a way to maximize results.

Fat Removal Program Optimization

Treatment is done once every 2 weeks. Each program is intended to be run on one side, then again on the other side.

- Fat removal size concerns an 8 x 10 area per side of the body

- Never combine more than one large and one small body part for fat freezing as you do not want to overburden the lymphatic system with too many lipids.

       - Acceptable: arms/legs, arms/back, buttocks/legs, buttocks/legs, arms/hips

       - Not Acceptable: legs/stomach, legs/back

 - having lymphatic drainage after Fat removal session provides optimal results
